AVRTHS joins the Commonwealth eBook program in conjunction with the Massachusetts Library System!

We now have access to three eBook collections:

  • Baker & Taylor
  • BiblioBoard
  • eBook Library (EBL)

 Just search, checkout, and download to a device, and you're off and running!

Baker & Taylor MAGIC WALL

Baker & Taylor includes popular fiction and recently published nonfiction ebooks that can be downloaded on your computer, phone, tablet, ipad, Nook, or Kindle.

You must create an account
for Baker & Taylor while at school. Once you have created your account at school, you can access the site from anywhere. 

Create your account while downloading a book -- you will be asked for your library card number. What you should enter is the following:

The prefix assabet (lower case) + your student I.D. number (or your faculty I.D. number)
This will become your "Library Card ID"

Example:  assabet12345
No other password is required

Add your first and last name, school email address and choose a security question and answer.

When you log in again (from anywhere) you will only need to enter your "Library Card ID"

For students and teachers: BiblioBoard has millions of pages of curated primary source content, and streaming audio and video. BiblioBoard also has a library of traditional content including, fiction, graphic novels, comics, children's books, university press books and more which may be used by more than one user at a time.

BiblioBoard: BiblioBoard at Assabet

You can use BiblioBoard without creating an account.

If you'd like to save books, documents, or links: Create your own account while at school by clicking on "Log In" located at the top right corner of the page.

Use assabet (lower case) + your student I.D. number (or your faculty I.D. number)
This will become your "Username"
Enter the same username to be your password.

You can now access your account from anywhere.


EBL (Ebook Library) -- see this site for 150,000 new titles!


Click on EBL and create an account with eBook Library from school and then access EBL and read books from anywhere.

 Create your own account while at school by clicking on "Create Account"

Use assabet (lower case) + your student I.D. number (or your faculty I.D. number)
This will become your "User Name"

The password is Assabet1 (case sensitive)

You can now access your account from anywhere.
